In Car Advancements are the original & approved main supplier of the Autowatch Ghost 2 product in Essex. Only very few companies were originally allowed to sell the Ghost 2 and we are one of the very selected few. We supply and fit the Autowatch Ghost 2 all over the local Essex area. The Ghost 2 has taken the market by storm with it's ultra secure method of immobilising the vehicle via Can-Bus rather than the normal method of cutting and joining wires. The best feature is the Ghost using the dashboard lights such as ( Engine light, Indicator lights ) to allow the user to disarm the system and carry out programming if required. The advantage of this method is the thief won't be able to trace back any wires from an LED for example. Meaning once the Ghost is installed the chances of a thief finding it are 1 in 100. The device is ultra small and when it is taped into a vehicles loom you wouldn't know anything has been installed.

The Autowatch Ghost 2 is disarmed by entering a sequence of buttons via the steering wheel or window switches when entering the vehicle, meaning unless you know the button pin sequence you won't be able to get the vehicle started. If you have an iPhone you can also download the Autowatch app from the Apple store to pair up with the Ghost via Bluetooth. The Autowatch Ghost 2 also allows you to disarm the Ghost via Android smartphones. Once the iPhone or Android is paired you can simply get into the vehicle and the Ghost 2 will automatically disarm. Every vehicle is different in terms of what buttons can be used for example a BMW can up to 20 buttons in total and a Ford can be limited to only 6 buttons.

The Ghost protects your car from key-cloning, key scanning / hacking, and even key theft. The only way a thief could take a Ghost protected car is by physically towing it away, even then they will never be able to drive it! The Ghost has no key-fobs or LED indications to give away its location. The Ghost uses the buttons in your vehicle such as those on the steering wheel, door panels or centre console, to allow you to make a unique, changeable, PIN code sequence that must first be entered before you can drive your car. Just like your credit card but you can make your car PIN even safer by making it up to 20 presses long ( on certain vehicles ).

The Autowatch Ghost 2 is extremely small and hidden within your vehicles wiring loom and once concealed it is completely invisible. When entering your vehicle you are required to enter a user defined pin number to disarm the Autowatch Ghost 2 system and allow you to start your vehicle, this is done by using various buttons on your dashboard or steering wheel in a particular sequence. Without knowing this unique code the vehicle simply will not start.

The latest version of the Autowatch Ghost 2 known as V3 now benefits from encrypted Bluetooth technology for operation via Smartphone App. This new app erases the need for PIN code entry via buttons and instead uses the encrypted Bluetooth connection to automatically deactivate the Ghost 2 when entering the vehicle. Of course, should your phone be unavailable then the PIN code can always be entered via the dash buttons instead. Please be aware the Autowatch Ghost 2 app is smartphone dependant as such don't base your buying decision on the Ghost App being able to disarm your Ghost.
