Ford Transits were do we start in terms of security? They are very poor in terms of security due to very few having a Thatcham alarm as standard. Which also can be disarmed in seconds. We done a blog post on this issue ( Disarming Ford Transit Original Alarm ). We want to offer you a custom security upgrade which is simply not an off the shelf product. In standard form the Cobra doesn't really give the best performance against Transits being broken into then stolen. With our custom alarm packages we offer security which protects your Ford Transit MK7 2006 > 2015 to the extremes.

Our first package is the Cobra Thatcham Cat 1 Can Bus plip upgrade which works from the original 3 button blue Transit remote control. Protects doors inc rear, bonnet and vehicles interior, 118DB battery back up siren. Custom OBD port immobiliser, Alarm will sound instantly if the drivers door is unlocked via blade key. Alarm will only arm and disarm from original blue remote or emergency 4 digit secure pin code.

The second package secures your Transit to the extreme. If you have brought your Ford Transit second hand you may not have all the keys in which case fitting the first package may not be ideal. This package comes with an ADR card which is attached to the vehicles keys, This means if your Transit is opened without the card being present the vehicle will be immobilised. Meaning no matter how many keys are cloned or have been programmed previously they still won't start the vehicle.
